Need help for oil feed pipe for GT3071

    Hi Chaps

The ends on my turbo oil feed pipe have become badly corroded, it seems that 034 fit mild steel ends to stainless braided hose

So I need to replace the ends or make a new hose but I have no idea what parts to buy, can anyone help?

Good timing, I am looking at what I need for mine. I want stainless fittings also as you would imagine
I can't find a stainless drain flange, thinking of getting some laser cut and welding on stainless AN adapters

The 034 flanges are alloy so they're ok, its the fittings that scew into them and the turbo centre section that I need and being Garret they're going to be imperial I guess.

Poor pics but I think you can see that the ferrules are actually splitting.

Well that's pretty shoddy quailty on 034's part, how long have they been on the car John?

Alex, I like your idea of Stainless weld on AN adapters, one can then fabricate the hoses at home and get them the right length, which is the hardest part when making up braided hoses.

Agreed, there is a lot of room for improvement for a number of their products. Captive market.

Those rusty fittings would disappoint me / crack me up.

Custom made stainless steel is the way forward.

Should be good if Error is involved.

Well as you can see from the turbo housings these are not recent, I bought the kit a few years back now, the car doesn't do a lot of miles and does live outside. That said I do try and keep things clean and spray with GT85 etc pretty regularly.

Does the Garrett need a restrictor on the i5?

John can you spare the line? I have all the fittings needed here to make you one up. It will be a -4 line

IIRC Garrett states 40 thou for the restrictor orrofice which is ~ 1.02mm.
Not sure what the thread is of this fitting?

I was hoping to use a stainless JIC male to male fitting to convert to AN

Chef that would be amazing, I would need to have my other car back first to take the coupe off the road for a few days. I should get it back end of the coming week sometime.
