Are you going to polish the intake tube? Or is it a plastic one?

Is the breather pipe connection missing from the from of the cam cover?

Eric, I made new ones for my 3B so will do the same for the RS2, would like to get material that matches the OE stuff.

John, the oil breather is vented to atmosphere ATM, I did this as there's a leak down by the Darleks head that I'm yet to sort, I want to take the whole PCV system off and clean & inspect it before ordering any parts etc. I know from my 3B an atmospheric vent makes little difference to how the car runs and it's got to be better than unmeter air entering the system. The pipe is plastic and have no plans to change it

Will, I mostly used a brass wire brush on a battery drill and loads of Autosol and WD40 mixed together along with brake cleaner and compressed air. If you go for wire brush on a drill don't press too hard, just use the weight of the tool and take your time, you'll scratch the castings otherwise. I'll get it a lot cleaner yet, I'm less than 50% finished.
