    No spark?

Finished putting the cylinder head back on total, went to start her and nothing so I checked the timing and it's spot on, pulled a plug to check the spark and nothing? Cranks over okay and I'm getting 12 volts to the 3 pin plug that goes in to the coil, when the ignitions on just nothing when cranking? loosing the will to live with this car

Potential Solutions Why your AAN/ABY/ADU isn't starting

Although the timing is correct and you have voltage at the coils, it doesn't mean that the ECU knows *WHEN* to trigger the spark via the POSs. To do that, the ECU needs good G4 crank position, G28 engine speed and G40 Cam position sensors that are plugged into the engine to ECU harness without issues (read: is your G40 connected properly?).

      Have a read on this:

It's a 3B by the sounds of it.

I would start by looking at the dizzy and make sure that is set up correctly

If you locked it by putting a bar or rod down a hole and then turning the crank until a resistance was met, you've knocked off the G4 crank position pin off the flywheel and now the engine never start or run until you fix the problem.

I locked it through the hole right under the bell housing on the gearbox on the ring gear, I'll have a look tomorrow properly, will it be a engine out job if the worse has happened? how easy are they to replace?

I presume you know that's not the way you're supposed to lock the crank? Did you manage to tighten it to spec using that method? With a torque wrench?
Have you checked the alignment of the crankshaft "Zero" timing mark in the bell housing window against the marks under the dizzy cap?
If that's all ok, make sure you haven't mixed up the hall sensor and ISV plugs.

Lock tight on, it's all timed up properly, crank, head and dizzy, I havnt taken the g sensors off so there's no reason they wouldn't be in correctly the only thing I can of that I've done any where around there is when I locked the flywheel to tighten the crank, would seem

How did you lock the flywheel? As per the suggestions above, the timing pin the the flywheel is essential to the ECU to determine timing and provide ignition.

Just with a large screw driver on the ring gear, is there just the one timing pin?

You can pop the starter off to check the pin is still there.

I had a cranking no start last year which was one of they flywheel sensors, I guess I had knocked it.

Thanks I'll drop the start out and have a look, or remove the ignition sensor and turn the engine over slowly, if the pin has gone will I have to take the engine out to refit one or
Can it be done in situ? I havnt quite come to terms with having to take the engine out again yet:')
