  • bent camshaft?

I have problem after engine rebuilt. I made aluminium crankshaft pulley and it goes splay on running engine. I thought that it happens of bad aluminium turning and made another one by cnc machine and it goes splay too. Original pulley also go splay. So it is crankshaft problem. So I think that the end of the shaft is bended. I don't think that I could turn the crankshaft clearly after tighteninig pins, if it bended on center or somewhere.

splay amplitude on pulley furthest point from the center is about 2mm

Should I replace crankshaft or could I running this engine with this problem?

Cam Cap Orientation and Tightening Procedure:

You might have a bent camshaft but I would start by removing the exhaust cam and reinstalling it, making sure that the bearing journals in the head are clean and that the caps are oriented the correct way and that the torque is correct.
