What's the hp limit for the stock EM? I read somewhere that you can't bolt a RS2 turbo to it - but I also found posts claiming that it will fit.
Maybe I should take it from the beginning. I want 350-380hp for my daily driver. I currently have a fried ECU and a 3" catback. Sure, it runs fine but I want more. I was thinking along yhe lines of:
-RS2 turbo, injectors
-7A ex cam
-RS2 airbox (no cone for me...)
What do I do? I want the turbo to sit in the stock position and I want 350-380hp. Possible? What I mean is - how far can I go without changeing the EM? The EM is probably the most expensive part next to mapping. Any ideas? Oh, I'm thinking of building a custom EM (I can get hold of flanges dirt cheap!) but the question is - can I build it to fit the turbo in the stock position? What diameter should I run on the primarys? Probably as big as the exh port in the cyl.head.
It's late and I'm tired. Kick me in the right direction here. Do I need a "better" EM or will I be ok with the stock one?
