Overboosting and boost hose kit query?

Okay my car started juddering on WOT with intermittent loss of power. I ran Vagcom and code and had the following come up:

00544 - Maximum Boost Pressure Exceeded
    27-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent

Therefore Im guessing its down to boost hose leak or N75. Ive removed all the boost hoses and cannot see any issues. I also have some spare N-75's so I was going to replace that and see first.

However as all the stuff's apart it would make sense to replace all the hoses now.

Questions with the Roose kit is there anything else I need to order to replace everything related to boost control?

Small bore vacuum hose if its not inculded in the kit, I would just replace all the vac lines, eg DV, FPR, ECU etc.

Have you pressure tested the intake or just visual inspection? You can have leaks from ISV, injector seats etc or just a clip that is not seated. Worth checking the DV as well.

And the one way valve in the PCV pipe under the IM.

Have you checked the IC O Ring? Try a search for Mark H Mod.

Thanks, Im going to replace the DV with a 710n I have spare and try the N75 first. I have someone wanting to buy the car and was supposed to be coming Wed so I need to try get it fixed before then.

Are there any other versions of the N75 that will work is it S2 specific?

Learning as I go as Ive never looked into the vacuum lines make up. Might need some help over the next few days.

Does someone have a photo of the DV set up as I didn't take note of the way it goes?

The outlet opposite the small vac hose goes to the MAF hose.

              Thanks.

Ive a friend who has a 058906283F N75, I know that's not the same but it looks the same. Can any other N75 number be used in place of the stock k one?

By that you mean the outlet in line with the small hose goes into the main hose between MAF and turbo. The other outlet at 90deg to small vac hose goes into the hose from turbo to intercooler?

Any photos of the set up?

Just done this exact thing with mine with new DV and N75 and yes DV goes in with vac hose nipple pointing to left wing as you stand in front of car. So outlet opposite pointing to the right into MAF/turbo. Downward outlet into inter cooler hose..

Okay fitted new N-75 and 710n and the car was running really well when I took it for a blast on Tuesday evening. No issues at all.

Went to take it to work this morning (we had a frost last night) and the car was lumpy on idle, misfiring and when I took it for a drive the overboost thing was cutting in again plus it felt sluggish again.

I disconnected the MAF and it idled fine then connected again and it seemed okay until I revved it a few times and it was lumpy again.

Am I looking at a dodgy MAF here? I checked everything else when checking the hoses i.e. coils, plugs etc and they all seemed okay.

If it is MAF then anyone have a spare?

Or would the small vacuum hose from the DV cause an issue. It was probably the ropiest one I checked?

if you've recently connected/reconnected any hoses then recheck, you'll probably find you can get another turnor 2 on any clamp (especially since temps have fallen up here), also have another look at the pin connections within the maf connector , check that they're all still making contact and none have been pushed back in the connector housing
