Offtopic, but yes they do, Lithuanians are tough m*fo's, some of the toughest K-1 fighters I've ever faced.

Anyway, so for a mapping starter pack, VEMS is a good enough pick? I'd like to map my beaut myself.

who's that nobody? you are talking like there is 100 tuners in Lithuania the problem is that Dainius aka Daktrariukas made lot of really ****** installs at his time who Mindaugas as a tuner had to deal with
Yes, Mindaugas is that kind of guy, he smiles in to your face, he chat with you, lie in to your face still smiling, friendly funny guy, good luck with him, but he never miss the chance to spill some **** on me, vems or others he's always the best, only he maps the cars properly on the road somewhere under the bridge and so on sadly if you want to insult me or something that wont work, I really don't know what we can chat about, you are just user, who believes everything your tuner says good luck with your audi and maxx first was vems, later nira, now maxx, who's next? and really, when someone ask me about Mindaugas I remain silent, I respect people and don't talk **** on them with every chance I get, not like your beloved Minde

what options do these ECUs have that VEMS dont?

20x22 axis, oil-fuel pressure and temp. 5d fuel and ignition map. 3fan control, transient ignition trim, 2 timer.
In the logging you can see in witch cell from fuel or ignition table you are.....

Link have more options then maxx but bougth are good ecu. Vems cheap and i prefer spent more money and have a good thing then vems . Just look how much of versions have vems and everything sais about ecu

What more options do Link have that MaxxECU doesnt?
