Carbon canister change

Thought this be of interest to anyone having issues

is there any way the canister itself might become faulty? apart from a hose or canister itself leaking of course

they do have limited lifetime in them, the carbon stuff, don't they?

I picked a brand new one up cheap and having problems with the evap system so thought might as well swap it while I'm fiddling about

i did have some issues as well, nothing critical, but i may want to sort it at some point

I've been having some restart issues with my 93 UrS4 AAN. The symptoms are as described in that article. Thanks very much for posting.

Update with pics and good news, The pressure build up in the tank was nothing to do with the evap systemAfter fitting new fuel lines we got the flow return pipes the wrong way roundHow the car has run fine I have no idea but the pressure in the tank was a nightmare and now seems sorted at last
