Maybe not. For sure the plastic wheel well liner has to come off.

3B (and NM, 7A, NG, etc) canister = 893201801A (under the hood)

ABY and ADU = 8A0201803 (in the right fender)

The earlier 3B S2 coupes had their evaporative emissions canister under the hood as shown here (note different PN than the ABY/ADU canister):

It's pretty straight forward, all the bolts are quite easily accessible.

Why would you change the cannister anyways?
