Previous attempt at getting oil T, oil P and V on an UrS4 cluster

I have more photos but these 3 are pertinent.

These are the three auxilliary gauge panel printed circuit boards that I used to try to figure things out:

This was the wiring Map I developed based on AAN wiring and 200 20VT wiring diagrams. AAN main board on the right. 200 10VT auxilliary board on the left (its loaded with three gauges)

This was the end result. Revised gauges on 200 10VT (same as 200 20VT) auxilliary gauge cluster printed circuit board in an UrS4 instrument cluster. The oil pressure gauge worked but the oil temp and volts did not (they were pegged = I FK'd up something).

      Some pictures of mdz's work...
Difference between S4 and S6 instrument cluster

Oil pressure gauge out of S4 board

All three white gauges from S4 and S6 on Audi 200 board instead of Audi 200 black gauges in order as it is in on Audi 200 board

And the result of mdz's work

There was some minor solutions in process but unfortunately wasn't recorded.

If the gauges go haywire, then the signal inputs are messed up. A100 gauge wiring:

        A6 gauge wiring:

Most likely something went amiss in the wiring.

        @Source,

You just used the aux board from the 200 cluster right? Remember any tips for the swap? I want to use the 200 board, the standard drilled one isn't the best option, since the gauge doesn't sit right.

          RichLV,
I think mdz could say more precisely, but I guess there was incompatible some screw places in the board. Just drill new ones and sit the board exactly where you need. But as I said - mdz made it for my car and he knows better what he did to make it work.

On a side note, can S2 aux gauges be fit into the S6 dash? Mine are peeling off and I thought I could just get a set of S2 gauges and swap them in my dash, the wiring looks the same for individual gauges.

Obviously. BUT just where is my question/problem.

These were the three wiring diagrams that I had to work with:

                UrS4 (no indication of 15, 31, 58, 58d - so flying a bit blind there)

                Audi 200 20Vt (with indication of 15, 31, 58 and 58d)
