What software are you running? Disconnecting the knock sensors should cut boost to spring pressure and retard the **** out of the timing.
Secondly 1.5bar boost (2.5 absolute) that you are expecting is IMHO too much on the stock turbo it will be screaming its little nuts off. This points towards you having bad software as well as potentially other problems aswell. Get a stock ECU or one with a known good tune and go from there.

John had some chips kicking about he gave me. and first time we put them in it ran superb. Smooth, responsive and that was with a boost leak.

I mean stock is 2.2/2.3 bar?

I never rely on the stock digitalized boost gauge as it's slow and low accuracy.
You need to plumb one aftermarket boost gauge and tell us what's exactly boost
Readings you've got.another thing might be worth asking, what wastegate spring
              You're running with?

I found it in my thread... My problems started also after adding some hp.

Have changed spark plugs (ngk bkr7eix)
I hit them to 0.5mm and I am very pleased, car runs very smooth now.

I am looking at one in near future. But don't want to spend money on thing I can live without atm.

If it was only lack of boost I wouldn't mind, but car isn't running at all right with bad fuel economy. When I first installed stage 1 chips it was running perfectly. Boosted to 2.5 and was as smooth as butter.

Do not knock used spark plugs, they might broke and fall to the cylinder and cause big damage. Originally they are 0,7 mm and do not give enough spark.
Buy new ones and knock them down, 50 euros and it can not get any worse
I did not have faith in it at the beginning, but it worked.

Chips were ok in my car.

I don't understand why the boost doesn't go to spring pressure when knock sensors disconnected..

It certainly seems timing is retarded, this will make the car feel gutless..

When I did timing belt the second time with 1st cylinder at TDC and can gears aligned as necessary and I couldn't put timing belt on, had to turn engine back slightly.

The timing you get from belt position will only change a little with a tooth and will likely not start if it's out anyway.

The timing that is computed by the ECU changes by 20 or 30 degrees depending on load and boost. When the car is running on small throttle opening the timing is extremely advanced, advance is less when on the gas, lots of advance makes the car feel really lively up to the point you get knock, then ECU will retard to avoid damage.

It seems like your car is not running as much advance as it should be.

That doesn't make sense to me. Was the tensioner totally loose when you put the belt on or was it already in tension position

Where was the flywheel during all that?

                              Belt was loose.

Timing mark by the gearbox was bang on where it suppose to be. I had head off when I did that so I could perfectly see what was happening with cyl 1.
