Dyno Graph Opinions!

Hello Guys,so today i was on dyno sesion and the car make the following numbers:
Mods are:
Stock engine
NM cams-orinal marks align
380cc Bosch EV6 injectors
034 adjustable fuel regulator
red coils -relayed
044 fuel pump
duble side intercoolers
Wagner exhaust manifold-original
kkk 24-7200 360 trust bearing billet compresor wheel-stock dimension
NGK8BKR plugs
stock back box
Stock air filter
98 ron standart fuel from petrol station
0,9 bar Ultimoth gate spring
300kpa Ultimoth map sensor
RS2+ Ultimoth chips set

345 WHP / 385 WNM


So i think that the NM are less than normal,need profesionla opinions please!

How much boost?

its showing 29,4psi, but ican't confirm that is absolute or working pressure. I will make a test with some boostmeter and i will confirm!

YEs the boost is 1,9 bar overboost,and keep 1,5bar till the redline.

Isn't it running a little lean under boost? I thought the optimum was around 11.5-12 but you're over 12 for most of the RPM range?!

dont you mean 345 crank hp instead of wheel horse power (whp)

No this is 345 Wheel horse power and Wheel NM!!! This is the first and most important requrement when the car was on dyno! Im intrerest what i put on the aspfalt,not on the crank!

385wnm is maybe a bit low for 1,9bar boost, but hard to say if you don't have a std car or RS2 to compare with.

Stock exhaust with no cats? (Stock S2?)

This is your problem...

3" downpipe and full exhaust will liberate more power and, more importantly, potentially a lot more torque...

Look at the units on the graph. You are making 385 lbft not Nm. This equates to 522 Nm. Is that more acceptable [emoji41]

What is the drivetrain loss calculated at 20%? Then that would 522Nm x 1,2 = 626 crank Nm that is not to bad.

Considering its a stock bottom end (rods), I wouldn't want any more Nm than that.

Adam G is right. Don't mix up NM and LBft; factor is ~1.35. Your torque is fine. Seen as wnm it is indeed very good. Stock is ~170NM/bar boost at crank, your wnm is still a bit higher. To be honest: both numbers seem to be quite high in my eyes.


Drivetrain loss is not constant percentage, but a mix with % and a hp or torque number, so on higher power the overall percentage number gets lower. Between 15-20% should hit it.
