According to prj throttle sensor isn't used for ECU if MAF is fully operational. Atleast on S4 it is held on place with 2 cross head screws and just pulls off and new one goes on.

TPS is not used for mixture but is used for boost control.

When my TPS had failed car was slow to respond, but I still got full boost.

TPS is not used as a load sensor, ECU still needs it.

That's a fine collection of beauties there mate. Is that a DeLorian under the tarp?

According to vagcat tps sensor i's replaceable. Item 2. Looks to be the same as most cars from that era.

Before you search out a new or good used 078133154 F60/G69, note that there is a power wire (red?) that connects to T12/55 in the ECU which provides 5V+ to the G69/F60 combination as well as the F96 Barometric Pressure Sensor and the G40 Cam Position sensor. Having two linked fault codes suggests and issue with that power wire or the ECU.

                        BUT try this first: http://12v.org/urs/G69F60ThrottlePos...hTestSheet.pdf

Based on this schematic, it makes the test procedure a bit easier to understand:

Testing the F60 Closed Throttle (Idle) Switch is as follows:

Across Pins 4 and 6 on the switch:
                        Closed = 0 ohms (continuity)
Open throttle (slightly) = infinite ohms (open)
If either fails, adjust switch as per procedure above.

Testing the G69 Throttle Position Potentiometer:

Across Pins 1 and 2 on the switch:
Must be 1500 to 2600 ohms

Across Pins 2 and 3 on the switch:
                        Throttle closed = 750 to 1300 ohms
As throttle is opened from closed to WOT = increase to 3600 ohms
                        If NO, replace sensor.

Good info Dave, I've tested everything and it's all measuring ok, cleared the codes and drove it and they've not as yet returned. I suspect because the car was left sitting for quite a long time there's some minor corrosion on connectors and the un-plugging and contact cleaner routine is sorting things out.
