Yes but eveything I have seen is super expensive. BW twinscroll housings cost 140 eur. But I'm sure some ppl can make custom housing fron Holset or Garrett housings.

What's also to consider is that the efr turbos are 3 years old now while Garrett gen2 is more updated.

Efr do look impressive though I have to say. I don't like the fact they have WGFV attached etc.

I am running an efr 6758 on my built 2.6 stroker urs4. Maxed out at 450bhp on 95 Oct pump fuel. I have more than 2 Bar boost by 2.9k rpm in high gears. Very responsive. But I have got an efr 7163 that I will swap on to the car soon, as I want a little more top end. It can be got with no extra crap if you look arround

On my aby with only upgraded rods. And a hand made exhuast manifold 3" exhuast and Gtx 3076 gen2 ar .82
Im at full boost at 4000@1.6 in 4 th The car has not Been remaped for the new turbo
Before it had some chinesium fake 3076 Made 1.9 bar@5000 in 4th The Gtx makes the same power 1000 rpm before and with only 1.6 bar. It feels like it is a bit faster
I know its not the bw or anything
But Im thinking with cams and adjusteble gears and head work it Could see spool Maybe 500 rpm faster

It appears that any 30gtx with the 0.82ar will boost at 4000rpm on our cars, which Is why I never liked the larger hotside

The important is when do you have max boost at 3d gear. Although we are not comparing apples with apples, as yours is a stroker. Myself with a 2.6 I'd be using a 3071r with 0.82ar as my liking is to be around the 3500rpm mark on 3d gear.

On my current hta I have 2bar (my max boost) on 5th gear at around 3400 and I do delay it a bit to avoid flutter

                  On my stroker 2.45l and 7A camshafts I see on Holset Super40 / 0.7AR in 3rd gear 1.7 bar at 3800 RPM.
                  Go Holset or Go RS4

Yea, with the 6758 I have 2 Bar in third before 3500 rpm, not sure exactly but I can check. The 7163 won't be quite so early to spool but will flow 500 easily enough.

What are the wheel dimensions on those? 3071 is pretty small compared to the Super40 wich is GT35 region.

Seems like the 7163 is almost identical to the 3071 in responses. I'll see what it does on the 2.2 sometime next week

7163 is actually knows as faster spooling, than 6758. Compressor map suggests that also. The gtx 3071 gen 2 has a better surge line after 1 bar (a lot better) compared to gen 1 and 50 more lbs/min. For example comparing the 7163 and gen2 compressor maps, the 7163 build boost a lot faster and smoother. At some point the 3071 surge line is better, but 5 cylinder engine won´t hit that area, without very small hotside or more CC. According to compressor map, EFR is absolutely better street/track turbo. It makes boost earlier(I would guess 500 rpm earlier), it is more efficient. And I don´t think the new gtx has considerably better response, then gen1.
If I look at 200sx-e map (bigger one). That one also builds boost smoother(than gtx), is more efficient, then both of the above turbos, and is capable of more power (650 hp rated). The response will not be as good, because journal bearings, and more weight than efr. Wouldn´t be surprised if it outspooled 3071. Surge line is very similar, but always a little bit better than GTX3071r. So compressor map suggest more boost numbers on your gauge. So I think this is something similar to GTX, only bigger and more efficient. Probably has worse response. And that thing is half the price of a GTX.
The smaller 200sxe is absolute animal, it will outspool anything , even considerably smaller turbos. So some please make single scroll hotside(affordable). I have a hx35 super hotside around, maybe can modify that one for my 4 cylinder engine?

Well this is a comparison of compressor maps, I don´t have the skills to fit those maps together on one map, that would be very easy for all of you to understand what I´m talking about. Keep in mind that those maps might not be 100% comparable, especially I don´t know the difference in spool of bb and jb, so can´t comment how the real life and map differ. Different companies, different measurements, different hotsides etc. So don´t take it as absolute truth, but they don´t lie either. Basically playing around with BW matchbot is good idea, almost all the bw maps are in there. It needs some understanding and knowledge, and remember it is basically an ideal setup if you don´t make changes on the original parameters.
