      I have a Audi s2 3b 1991, i have just had the engine & transmission out
and then in again, and now it gets too much fuel, and when i speed up the engine and let i go down to idle, the engine stops, and if i keep it at ex. 3000 rpm it misfires, i have put in new spark plugs, changed the coolent temp sensor, changed intake air temp sensor, the timing is correct, and the injectors has been cleaned and testet by a firm.
The engine ran just fine before i took it out, i took it out to renovate the engine and change transmission and clutch.
Have i put something wrong back together or....
I hope that some of you may have some suggestions to what the
      problem could be..

      Thanks

I'd do a boost leak test first and foremost. Sounds like its sprung a leak somewhere

Are you sure your firing order is right, i.e. have you got the spark plug leads the right way around?

mcandmar : yes its not that kind of missfire
my mind is on the injectors , maybe they could not handle the detergent cleaned them with, and the reason i got them cleaned was becuse of to old fuel so it would not start, but it startet up after they where cleaned

Check the pipes of the PCV system are correctly connected. If you swap two pipes over you can get all sorts of problems.
And yes, do a boost leak test.
And check the Diverter valve diaphragm is not split

                          Hi.

When you overfuel try a pressure test at the fuel rail.
May be you need a new fuel pressure regulator.

                          Cheers
                          Peter
