The reason I'm asking this is I'm having a bit of trouble with what I can only describe as ignition or fuel cut at 3500'rpm sounds like a flipping machine gun when it does it
And I can not get the car to idle more so when hot, the only way I can drive it is by disconnect the ISV all together and then it runs fine
I have checked for boost leaks till I'm blue in the face so I'm with that
Replaced maf, n75 valve which was leaking, tryed another lambda
No fault codes apart from ISV which is disconnected
The only thing that I have noticed was the wastegate upper chamber does not hold great vacuum and leaks off nearly straight away, thinking diaphragm
That being said any ideas on idle issue any input would be greatly appreciated
I have access to vcds and was looking through measuring blocks but to be honest unless someone can tell me what is the important figures I'm a little unsure
Anyway many thanks in advance
Happens on mine all the time, albeit not an RS2 turbo, replugging the MAF cures it for me...you may have really dirty connectors or bad connection some other way.
cleaned conections and even changed maf im wondering if the wastegate diaphram is split would this cause the condition or am i barking up the wrong tree
Not sure what direction to go with this
