Cooling system pressure test - what pressure?

So I have this annoying coolant leak that I can't seem to locate but car leaves a lot of coolant under the gearbox.

So I was thinking of trying to pressurize the coolant to find the leak, but what pressure should I go up to?

I have a bike pump with a manometer and was thinking of pressurizing through the connector in the top of the coolant bottle or does it have to be through the cap?
