You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Can anyone tell me whether a boost guage should hiss and release air?
I've just fitted a new one - that should be trial fitted (ie on the passenger seat) - and there's air leaking from it somewhere. I just wondered if this was normal?

You can find it in a plumbers merchants or B & Q plumbing dept etc..
Its used for wrapping around the threads of plumbing fittings to stop leaks, comes in a little white plastic roll a bit like Sellotape. Wrap it clockwise round the male part so that screwing the parts together does not unwind it. (fnaarr)
