    No Power!!!!! Help

Testing the coilpacks and all of a sudden we lost power to the coilpacks and injectors and ECU
All the auxillary lights etc work, and we've traced the wiring / fuses back, ignition switch etc all seems to work. We've brought power from the ignition switch up to the base of the coilpacks but still wouldn't start??
Any obvious fuses that might have blown for some reason??
Any help appreciated as I'm stranded at the garage with the mechanic who's trying his best at 820pm!!
    Cheers

No voltage at ECU? Fuel pump relay, fuses.

Pump relay has 2 outputs, 1 for pump, 1 for engine electrics.

All fuses except few for electric windows are in the fuse box. Check inside the fuse box cover and there should be some explanation. In german perhaps, but online translator helps.

Thanks for your help Porkkis but I found S24 and it is fine. Can't understand why we've lost power. It is now 11pm here, we have spent over 6 hours trying to fix it to no avail. To sum up, we have power to and from the ignition. All interior lights etc work. I have no power to ECU, injectors or coilpacks. Fuel pump works, fuel pump relay works when relay closed manually. All fuses that I could find have been checked. This happened so suddenly, whilst testing the coilpacks through a proper tester. We found 3 weak coilpacks out of 5 But I believe that has nothing to do with the central loss of power. Any help greatly appreciated.
                Cheers

                  Karl,

No power to ECU as in you can't even read fault codes etc from it?

                    Test these:

Can you measure 12V at ECU pin #18 ECU disconnected from the connector
Can you measure 12V at ECU pin #37 when ECU connected and ignition on
Can you measure 12V at WGFV when ignition on
Is the engine groud wire OK at intake manifold
Is the coil pack ground wire OK
Can you get the blink codes
Is battery connected properly and charged
Is the Hall sender connector properly connected
Is the 62 deg flywheel sensor properly connected

What all have you taken out whilist testing the coils?

Answer to all that and if you can't locate the fault I try to guess more

There's about four fuses feeding the Motronic system. Check s2central.net for the lowdown and schematics.

Thanks for everyones help guys. Somehow it was the 20A fuse at the very RHS of the main fuse box. Six and a half bloody hours and we couldn't even spot it
It was a useful exercise in checking out the excellent stuff Paul has put together on S2central though, so thanks for the education lesson Paul. Very much appreciated
                        Thanks again
