Fault code 00537 = faulty lambda or bad sparks?

    Well i get fault code:

00537 - Lambda (Oxygen Sensor) Regulation
11-10 - Control Limit Not Reached - Intermittent

It seems that my car suddenly drives really rich in low rpm's and car cant keep going. It dies in the low RPM.

Iam thinking bad lambda (1 year old), perhaps bad sparks? or perhaps bad fuel filter?

    Any other suggestions?

Sparks are 2 years old and has driven 30.000 km, is standard 3b oki?

It can also be pressure hose, which "tells" fuel pressure regulator, what pressure is in IM. It is rubber, maybe it is cracked ?

I mean hose from IM to the pressure regulator. Check it.

            Nah not really

Any way to check fuel regulator and return line?

            kwlw:

Just changed that hose, so that should not be the problem, and i can still get full boost. If that hose were cracked there would be air leaking.

Too much fuel pressure -> rich.

Get a 0-5 bar gauge and double banjo for the fuel rail (3B) and measure it. It should be 3 bar with engine turned off and fuel pump running. You need a jumper wire to replace the fuel pump relay.

sparks (F5DPOR ones) should last at least for 60.000 km.

Disconnect your lambda and see if it resolves low RPM problem. When lambda is disconnected ECU should use "failsafe" defaults - a little bit rich, but engine should not die in low RPMs.

Disconnecting the lambda, can i do that by unplugging the black cord and the two white cords?

White ones are for heating so you can leave them connected.

It's the single wire for the signal.

Word of warning. Do not let the signal wire touch car chassis or anything when the exhaust is warm. This will kill the sensor.
