Vacuum leak?Originally posted by bcdesigns
Seems like you probably have a leak in one of the hoses, perhaps the small one to the ecu or the one to the Bypass valve, or the BV is broken?
Or throttle body hose or ISV.Comment

Pressure test the intake, you have a leak somewhere. It may be a leak in the breather system too. But pressure test the intake.sigpic

But a leak make a higher vacuum? (i was thinking that a hole in the system, give me less vacuum)
Ok, i will install the new sillicone hoses, ill wask for chech the TB, other hoses in the intake, IC and breather system...
Thank youAudi 100 TDI :mischeif:

0.2bar is less vacuum than 0.6bar, no?
zero on the guage is no vacuum at all, above zero the boost starts

oh men, please sorry me.... i said big s*** here
I read my boosts in the digital cluster, so 1,0 is 0bar (at sea level)... My car on idle do (did) 0,5bar in the Digital, so, 0,5bar in absolute is -0,5 bar relative...
Now in Digital IC, the car do 0,2(0,3)bar on idle, that is -0,8bar(-0,7bar)... this kind of measures i only saw that values on hi rev with Throttle pedal released.
Sorry my errors in this topic.... i always make some mistakes when i talk about my measures on this **** digital boost gauge! And when i have to write in English (i try) even hard it is!

Ok Bruno, I understand now, sorry, so you do have More vacuum, only thing I can think of is there is a block on the air supply, check the hose from MAF to turbo, maybe is has collapsed. Or perhaps your airfilter is blocked.
The only other thing I can think of is that maybe the sensor for the boost gauge has gone wrong.Comment
