    Hi Everybody,

Seems eventualy I got rid of boost leaks. ( My opinion)

Now I had a strange behavior of with fueling. Will try to explain:

I got A/F meter fitted inside dashboard. When I drive normaly without sudden "pedal to the metal" the A/F ratio (lamda) shows (most times) about 1, which is normal.

As soon I push it hard-the boost goes to 0.8bar, but A/F lights goes down and disapears-no readings. There is no boost cut out, just strange pulling power. I trying not to push hard in case A/F mixture goes lean.

Could be faulty MAF, Temp sensor on top of IM, or fuel pump?

    Any suggestions?

Of if anybody in NW area can lend their MAF for 10min, so I can eliminate-find troublemaker in the car.

    Cheers

    Andy

Sounds like it could be MAF, try cleaning it along with the sensor on top of the IM. Also lambda could be faulty.

    HTH,

    Cheers,

Lambda probe-fitted new 4 months ago, MAF cleaned with IPA 2 weeks ago, IM temp sensor cleaned

Any ideas how to check these items with basic circuit tester-multimeter?

      Cheers

Does an S2 have a throttle position sensor? There a common failure on 7A engine's, when they go the car still drives but not very well.

I hope so-cheaper than new MAF

Thinking of fitting Sytec (Max pressure 8.0bar, pressure lock out 115psi, 180ltr/hour@3.0bar), price~ £150
