I have now killed 2 std coils on my 3B running high boost. I know there are "high output" coils out there, but i was thinking of upgrading to the later type coil packs. Now i can get those coils cheap, but they need to be triggered.
I dont want to be changing looms and ECU's as that is too costly.
Fromwhat i can work out, the dizzy's hall sender gives the ECU 5 firing points for the coil. So using the original dizzy and hall sender, would it be possible for it to trigger an individual coil on a specific cylinder.
The car is fine to drive as long as i dont drive using peak torque, which is a nightmare as you need to rev the engine hard
Which i never do.
