I inquired about this though, and was told it was NLA, hence I didn't mention it.
May call Marty on monday, no, yes, no, yes, no. See the Dark side's pull is strong, I must resist
2001 Avus Silver B5 RS4.
2004 A4 Avant 1.8T quattro Sport-LE.
1995 S2 Coupe - sold (sniff)
It's listed in ETKA at least. Anyway, hijacking it all a bit. A 1993 S2 Avant - did it have both a S2 and a quattro sign?
Personally, no way would I black out both the rings and the mouldings. I have a completly black grille and it looks bad. Like the S6+ '97, I'd like a grille that has black moulding and chrome rings and all the badges it came with stock. Looks best. A RS2 grille looks kind of wierd witha S2 bumper. Can't have mesh grille and standard ribbed bumper grilles. That just looks wierd.
What market came with the black trimmed grille? Cause they weren't S2 specific. I'm guessing something like South Africa. Anyone know?
Does anyone no where u get the audi rings from to fit onto the rs2 grill? i got a plain rs2 grill at the moment but i want everyone to know its an audi. cheers
3'' Longlife Exhaust, Koni Adjustables, H&R Springs, Full RS2 Setup with Mr Nugents RS2 Chips (just need the RS2 Airbox)
Just like every other part that happens to be NLA.

The late S6 plus had black frame with chrome rings.

I think it looks rather groovy, but then I would say that.

It wasn't market specific, it was available as a factory option IIRC.
No no no... Read it again. I said, that just like the '97 S6+, I'd like grille that has black moulings and chrome rings. I did not say that the S6+ was all blacked out.
About ETKA - I meant that the part isn't listed as "no longer avaliable" so it should be possible to order.
Factory option? Cool, I'm going to call the local dealer to check the price tomorrow.

erm, a dealership or a independent parts supplier such as VAGParts might help?
Parts numbers are:
So, I called my dealer today. The grille with the black trim and chrome rings cost SEK1977, which is about £150-ish (I used £1=SEK13 so there might be some diff). Not sure if I think it's worth it but it sure looks better than stock.
The OE black S2 grille is still available, pretty sure about that. I ordered and supplied one only a few months ago, we supply that @ £76.36+vat. I had one on my Avant for a while as I like the black-out look. When a RS2 grille came my way too cheap, I opted for that one and sold on the black out one. The black one is a good alternative as teh stock S2 grille badge fits that grille where as you need to mod a S2 grille badge heavily to fit the RS2 grille.
"edit" Whats with the 1.6 Avant signature Martyn ? Stealth indeed mate
The 1.6, well becuase its the source of soooooo much fun .All I have on the back of my estate car is Audi on the left and 1.6 on the right. I have lost count of the number of times that rear badge has made me chuckle, so many times drivers of other cars have fallen prey to my 11 year old 1.6 boring silver estate car, I just love it! I reckon they then head to the local Audi dealer to check out how come Audi's are so fast? I bet Audi have sold a lot of 1.6's recently!!
