I would second the recomendation of 6000k bulbs, i have 8500k bulbs in my car and they are too purple and as a result dont look as bright on the road at night as the blue causes brightness loss if that makes sense, 6000k are more white and as a result give much better visability.

Are you guys able to supply just bulbs? As im tempted to change mine down to 6000k and sell my 8500k bulbs.

Is it possible to spray the headlight reflectors with a chrome paint as mine are totally knackered!Theirs moss growing inside the one!Also wanted to tint the headlight glass and uprate the bulbs as best i can,see the pia do the most expensive bulbs but are they worth it?ideas for tinting glass/which bulbs please!

electro plating is what you need doing to your refectors works a treat had my old gt done yrs ago 100% better but watch any plastic parts as they dip them in acid first

I have ellipsoids so basically all i would need are the bulbs like the ones from the group buy, then i will have light like my mates s3 that has xenons is that correct?

You need the ballasts to ignite the xenon gas in the bulbs. Usually takes in excess of 20,000v to fire them up! Once they are lit they only draw around half the current of the standard setup.

you could always sand the reflectors down then spray it with 3m spray mount n use tin foil on it thats nice n shiny.

found some spray paint in halfords(Brilliant metallic chrome paint)Sparyed them up and got a mirror finish almost as good as new!says heat resistant to 400degrees so should be ok!
