Over the phone they wouldn't guarantee to remove it in one piece but they did their best by sending out a guy in his late 50's who had done plenty of C4 A6 work in the past. When the fitter turned up he saw it was a new Audi screen (Autoglass had installed it 9 years ago and covered no miles) and said he would do his best to get it out. Took him about 40 mins all told with the special gear but it came out perfect. Worth a try as the guy who did mine probably knows your type too being old enough.
