I am not so sure.... (although I don't own an Avant) I thought the days of manufacturers pinning badges on had long gone?

There seems to be lots of Avants without badges in photo's on this forum, they can't have all had filling and paint?

*dons flame proof suit and sits back*

    Cheers,

The badges were fitted to the S2 Avant but not the RS2. I don't know about european models though they may or may not have had them at all.

I plan on fitting a pair of RS2 wings on my S2 when I pull my finger out and get the bodywork sorted. New wings don't have holes for indicators either so I can get rid of them and the badges in one go.

You need the indicators for an MOT though? :mischeif:

That was asked recently on fans Jamo, I asked my MOT blokey and he said no, not needed. As long as you have two front and two rear indicators, the side reapeaters aren't a requirement.

Hmm my MOT guy says that all cars after April 1986 must have side indicators.

I suppose it depends on the intereptation of "side indicator"

But the only wings available for avants now have no holes for the badges or repeaters and are going for 50 summit quid each, cheap as chips Delete the lot and new wings! Not as cheap as coupe mod though, now where did i put that flameproof suit?
