Took me a few hours labor with new cables, no problem fitting them to the door.

Got them fitted now, second set arrived with one of the small hooks inlcluded, no part number, sorry. I can take a close up pic if anyone is interested.

I ended up modding the doors very little and the left mirror base only. Then i made costum brackets to fit in the original holes in the door and the hole in the Porsche mirror.

Funny thing is, that I had to reverse two of the cables compared to the guide offered here. Otherwise the mirrors would go down when pressing up, and vice verca

Anyways, all is working good, and it looks damn fine

Visibillity from the inside with the Porsche mirrors is however somewhat restricted compared to the Audi mirror, but i can live with that

So what did you do about the other hook that was missing? Do the coupe mirrors have this hook?

              Sorry for late reply.

Nope, no hook on standard Coupe/Audi mirrors. Think the hook is only used on Porsche and RS mirrors.

I made my own brackets from sheet metal and fixed the mirrors with a screw through the bracket.

Would however imagine that it would be easier to by the adapters from Audi
