I had never realised the Cabrio had such a front bumper... Its hard to spot any differences from those photos to be honest. Maybe the RS2 item is taller from top to bottom - very hard to say actually. Looks fine to me and thanks for pointing it this source for an alternative bumper. I assume there is no complication with regards fitment on the S2 in respect to intercooler and oil cooler clearance - please confirm !

Well I'm confused - they sure look the darn same - never seen one in the flesh before. Maybe its not as aggressive looking as RS2 item (which is OK as not everyone likes that look). Need to find some RS2 pics now !
I think you are right Crawford! The RS2 one has a swag line in the lower section...

They are clearly both cabrio bumpers. I don't think Jonas was making a comparison between the RS2 and cabrio items wrt the pics although I could be mistaken.
RS2 items are full body colour so they look like cabrio items to me. AFAIK the only difference is in the colling vents, all blocked off for the cabrio as it dosent have an oil cooler or IC.

Yeah this was two pictures of the faceliftet cabrio bumper
I know the lower part is not painted, but my local paint can use some filler and get the lower part completly smooth, and then a repaint.
S2central:
I cant confirm if there is any fitment problems, since i dont have the bumper yet, but iam considering getting it, then i will confirm. However my source says that there are no fitment problems.

Yeah i have looked at the Rieger, and some of it seems ok, but I can find a really nice rear bumper.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say I prefer the look of the Cabrio item over the RS2 items... I reserve the right to change my mind when I see photos of it on the S2 though
I actually don't like the look of fully painted RS2 bumper unless all the lower sills are also painted - which is true of the RS2 of course but not the S2 with its satin black finish. Just looks wrong if the front bumper is all paint and the rest of lowers are black.
I would personally just paint the top half and keep the lower sill in that black finish.
I would really like to know how you get on with this bumper. Please keep a note of all the part numbers for lights, grills and clips etc - they will be very useful.
Does it have the big bumpy S2 style headlight washers - or the more subtle RS2 squirters ?
Not enough "chin" on the Cabrio bumper for my liking!
