RS2 Grille or not?

S2 all or RS2 all no mixing. Lattice with lattice and mesh with mesh. Just an opinion.

I vote like Jon's. OEM black surround S2 grille

I prefer the slats on the S2 one , but much prefer the black surround, without the chrome (I do however like the chrome rings...)
So for me, best bet is S2 grille but black surround..... keeping chrome rings




I like the coloured part at the bottom of the other red S2 above... but I wonder how long it would stay painted.......

Just spotted this, cheers This is a standard S2 grill with the addition of elbow grease and satin black, as previously mentioned £4.20. Can't buy these but they are easy to do. Even better now i have done the headlights

Does anyone have pics how RS2 mesh should be mounted to RS2 grille frame? The necessary parts are no longer available and something would need to be fabricated.

It's a pretty poor arrangement IMO. The mesh is just held against the back of the plastic frame by 7 clips. 4 of one size and 3 of another IIRC.

Ive got an RS2 grill with more than a few of the clips missing and im looking at plastic welding the mesh to the surround as it will be more secure than the brittle clips that break as soon as you touch (or look) at them im also looking at possibly retaining the standard S2 front bumper and cutting out the grills and fitting mesh to match the RS2 grill like Pix (sorry for copying you buddy ) CheeRS Al

The clips hold the mesh in the grille but also hold the grille in the bonnet.

Hello, someone have a S2 Coupe pearl white with RS2 grille? I don't know if fit a RS2 grille under my S2 and if Audi rings are better chrome or black.
