    Dash Replacement - how hard?

i might replace my dash at some point as a lazy/careless alarm fitter drilled into mine to fit sensors at some point, which are now redundant....

how hard is it to remove / replace the dash - looks a bit daunting

If your just pulling it off pushing a new one on should not be too hard providing you undo everything on it, i'll let you know in about a weeks time as might be doing one

nice - a few pics of the relevant fixings etc would be awesomely helpful if you get the chance mate
I've only got a haynes manual for the 80/90/coupe and dash removal is funnily enough not listed

also, perhaps a kindly mod can move this to interior section? - its been a long day!!

            Held on at 8 points.
2 each side under the circular bits as you open the door

2 each under the carpet attatched to a bracket which is in turn attatched to the tunnel....

Have to undo all the center console, switch/heater controls everything in the center. There is also a bolt/nut attatched to what I call the moose horn (plastic air flowing thingy that supplies the side vents - looks like a moose when put on head and drunk!!!)
then the thing lifts out (steerign wheel etc removed of course)

you make it sound so easy Az..

In fact, most of my interior is out anyway on my CQ, so shouldn't be too much of a problem by the sound of it
