From what i've seen that is jonus's car (not sure i've spelt his name right) so you could try contact him. think he might be a member also check out a thread I did for wide arches as iirc that had a link to his website.
It would be very expensive, and not really make that much difference TBH.
A friend of mine spent an obscene amount of money getting a custom bonnet and boot lid panel made from carbon, it didnt really make that much of a noticable difference, and that was on a car that was already stripped out for the track.

Think I save 12kgs on a mk2 golf bonnet and around the same on a carbon roof. That's already 25kg's, so it does add up quickly.
I know with mk2 golfs, the roof is spotwelded most the way along. You can just take a fibreglass mold off it (obviously before you drill the spot welds), and then you could take the mold to someone with carbon laying skills and facilities, for the carbon componant to be made up for you.
You bond on the roof to the car with the same stuff they stick windturbine blades together with. Expensive, but strong!
I'm thinking of making my roof with carbon/kevlar(to do away with the sunroof)might be a bit tricky but should be able to do a reasonable job of it.With the front wing in carbon/kevlar it weighs about 2lbs(0.9kg)
I'll have a look when I get back to my warehouse - I've got a drum of the stuff (cost around £500, from memory), but you only need a tiny amount, so don't let that scare you off!
It's a 2-part resin that goes pinkish when you mix it. It's got a fairly dense consistancy to it, so you can apply it to the surfaces, without it running. (think of a chewet sweet on a very warm day and it looks a bit like that!) Clamp your 2 surfaces, and 24hrs later - voila!
I've a friend who's got pretty far with building his carbon car and it's amazing how rigid all the "floppy" carbon panels become after they're bonded together.
Shortsport - I'm interested to know why you choose to use kevlar in the roof laminate, as opposed to a 100% carbon? You intending on skidding on your roof, any time soon!
Carbon/kevlar is cheaper than carbon fibre and to get the best of carbon fibre you need pre preg which is expensive, you need to keep it in a freezer and need an autoclave to cure it,so I went for carbon/kevlar because i,m using a lay up resin and the weight difference is in how much resin you use + Audi uesd kevlar on the short sport panels and roof
