Bonnet question

I have a '91 2.3 coupe Q. I have found a bonnet from the S2

which is the one with the extended front (it includes the grille were mine is the ''flat'' one). Does anybody knows if it is a straight replacement ar if it needs modification in order to fit??

need to change the front core support too.
These items can be had off a standard 93-95 90 series car.

you mean the support for small radiator, no?

also good luck with your project ( converting it to S2...) ... I hope sometime, I do the same (if I find all the parts... )

VFR, Go to a scrapyeard near you and get an audi 80/90 bonnet. They are the same item, £40 quid should cover it and no need to pay carriage. The bonnet won't fit in the back of the coupe though!

As David said there may be a couple of other items needed as well but these can e found from the same car. If you are lucky the colour might match and then you need to spray the outside only!

The lights might be covered slightly by the newer wider grille.

If the later lights are fitted to the 89 bonnet ( same as yours and mine) there is a bit of a gap between the bonnet and the edge of the lights.
