RS2 rear boot spoiler???

Hi there,

Does anyone know where i can get hold of a rear boot spoiler for the rs2?Saw a pic of one on a rs2 at worthesee this year and i love the look
the one he had fitted also had a brake light fitted.
Any help would be appreciated.....

You mean the tailgate lip spoiler at the top edge of the window...

I like the look too.

I bought one a few years ago while in Germany. I took a few pics and posted them HERE

I haven't decided 100% if I am using mine or not. I'm struggling with staying original.

Do it, an Avant looks naked to me without one maybe i'm just "spoilt"

I'm torn. I like the look with and without. Velcro maybe? Then I could remove it on a whim.

i bought mine from that ebay dealer.It is good quality but beware of 2 things

1) you will need lots of paint for a good finish cause the material kind of sucks it in!!

2) make sure you glue it correctly on there because if not you will get a rough time replacing bulbs of the rear stop light.The garage who i had this done,didnt glue it properly and i had to make a new screwdriver to utilise and work the bolts grrrr

So it just glues on, and you'd need to paint it yourself?

well at least get it to a place for a spray,yes.it is a GFK material i think and not painted.
You can either drill it or glue it.But glue must be special kind(dont know how it is called) for this purpose.Im sure at respray garages they will know which one is the correct one

The "glue" that is included with mine is Sikaflex, so once it is on it isn't coming off. The guy I bought my car from ruined the hatch prying the spoiler off with a screwdriver.
