Actually, if you need to remove it completely you might have to take the wing off.. But the leak is likely to be one of the pump grommets perished or the hoses come off.
I reckon if you take the wheel off and take the bolts out that hold the bumper to the wing and pull the arch liner rearwards (I hooked it over the disc..) You'll be able to see the bits you need to, probably the rubber joiner has perished that connects the pump to the pipe up tp the screen or a grommet has failed..
Hi,
You don't need to take the wing off : Wheel off, wheel arch liner pulled rearwards and after you remove the bolt(s) (there might be 2 of them) rotate the filler in the engine compartment ~ 90 degrees and it should come off the bottle. Then the bottle should be free to pull out . If you have the larger bottle (headlight washing system) it's a bit more tricky getting it out . Good luck.
Thanks folk, all sorted, froze my 'you-know-whats' off, jacked it up and took the wheel off, struggled with the arch liner as I doubt it's been moved since new. When I got to the pump, the pipe was pulled off...
The routing of the Screen wash pipe had been disturbed at a recent service (pollen filter - scuttle cover) and pulled. Tried freeing it and promptly snapped it. Fortunately, had some spare pipe from the RallyRep, so fitted this, re-attached at the pump, and 'Bob's your Uncle'... All fixed...
Thanks again.
