Will the HID kit fit in the standard headlamps?

Note that LHD and RHD cars have different part numbers. Of course!
In my opinion the early type h4+h1 lights are just good. I have them and direct relay connection from the alternator. Especially the mains are waaay better than in ellipsoid unit. My friend has them so comparsion is easy. We both have fairly new headlights, say bought in the last 4 years.
Car in the image has the newer style ellipsoids but is LHD, I'd ignore the part numbers these Brits give you
Btw seems that that car would need a bit more than headlight glasses

And no! The electric adjustment is not a standard fitment! I don't have them! Maybe on RHD cars..
And the lights themselves are the same regardless of height adjustment equimpment. The electric motor replaces a manual adjustment screw.
And AFAIK the needed wires are in the vehicle main harness

having owned S2s with both varieties, the H4 lamps are much better on dipped beam than the ellipsoids. On main beam the ellipsoids are improved but that's probably due to the change in switching.
If you require H4 lenses, the Audi part numbers are as follows:
894 941 115 B left for right hand traffic
895 941 115 C left for left hand traffic
895 941 116 B right for right hand traffic
895 941 116 C right for left hand trafficMike

I have motors in my94 S2 coupe, i thought the episoids are dual handed as i thought there is a lever inside the light which allows you to switch it from left hand driving to right hand driving? So if that is the case it doesnt matter what lights you get as long as you swap the lever to the roads your driving on.
