With you now, the painted part is the wing mirror, the glass and black plastic trim clip onto it. To take it apart you have to start by pulling the glass off, its held on by clips arranged in circular pattern in the middle of the glass, i think the trick is to prise it as close to them as possible. I've never had to remove a good mirror but i know others who have so it is possible to do without breaking it.91CQ20v - Gone to a new home
