After doing a 3b conversion into a type89 quattro, part of me agrees, but I think changing little things like this are what make the car a representation of the driver. They are definitley secondary to the engine, suspension etc, but I for one really like smoked taillights - hey Audi had them by default on the URqs - I love em on my 90.Am I the only one who associates stuff like black rings, toned tail lights, huge spoilers and the like with ricer kids?
Maybe I am just more of a power/engine guy myself, but every time I see such things I just think that people have way too much time on their hands.
I think nothing looks better than an OEM car restored to perfection...
To the original poster, have you ever considered doing flat white rings?Comment

I have opened mine up, and then spaced the number plate forwards in and attempt to get some flow. I did buy a square plate for fitting at the side, but couldnt face doing it as that is what all the civics round here have on themCurrent-2004 Impreza PPP wagon

Well i went for it.
kept all the rings etc to put back on maybe one day.
And the bonnet pull you just bend the arm down and it works as normal but you just open it from under the bonnet like any other car..
Might change the grill to something that looks more rs2 style if i can find something!!

Nice stealth mod you could hide most of the time but open up at track days etc
