Any pics of black painted Audi rings on Grille on S2?

Am I the only one who associates stuff like black rings, toned tail lights, huge spoilers and the like with ricer kids?

Maybe I am just more of a power/engine guy myself, but every time I see such things I just think that people have way too much time on their hands.

I think nothing looks better than an OEM car restored to perfection...

I agree, car colour has a huge impact on if it looks good or not...

On a similar note I have just passed an RS2 grille onto Acidburn, when it was on my crystal silver coupe it looked great but on my byzanz coupe it was a bit " hidden" being all black mesh and frame ( still standard chrome rings)

What about a silver instead of chrome? Chrome can sometimes look a little dated on certain cars particularly if there is no other chrome.

It was hard, I had to paint the ring black first as I could get the carbon wrap all the way into the tight parts. Oh and by hand.........
