Headlights model

What year started/ended production of theese headlights?They are vertical model of glass not the ones with the lower part of the glass comming out on the bumper.
I am trying to buy a set of those to replace mines and i can not tell in any pics what model they are
Are they pre 85?
I shure love that front with that slim bumper

My 84 ur quattro had those flat lights, my friend's 85 had the slopers. The glasses fit to either light IIRC

found on 80q and coupe gt's/urq on A and B reg in uk which means 1983/84/85(early),very hard to find(over here at least)

Yeah, I was stupid enough to buy a new pair of those lights and convert them to sloping ones and then give the straight glasses away..

855941115 should be straight galss ?I saw 855941115 b marked as from chasis number onwards.It is around 70 eur,and it is the only thing that is still available.The problem is that my glasses are ok,the cases are bad.
The cases for the sloping ones end in "c"

I have one set of these headlights, complete with all grills, and plastics, so if You are interested...

These headlights was originally put in every Audi 80 Quattro from 1983-1984. In Coupes from 1980 - 1984, but mainly quads, not these.

P.S. I have one full set of them too.

If you are converting from sloping you need a different grill as that was different too
I may have one, will check at weekend
