C4 Outer Taillight Replacement DIY

I had to replace the right outer taillight on my 98 C4 avant with the BOSE subwoofer jammed in the cubby so I took a few photos for fun and wrote up the DIY linked below. Probably a no brainer but hey sometimes reading a DIY gets you through a period of head scratching with less hair loss.

But can you do it from inside without opening the bootlid?
I had to remove one like that at the scrap yard

Sure was, doors from another car I'm the back too, wouldn't fit through side doors and tailgate against a wall hence not opening it
But a pair of tail lights a manual and a load blind for £20 was good enough
