I like the duck egg blue a lot. Much better than the manufacturer's current trend for painting cars "Dog Egg Brown".

What does the 'lifestyle' bit refer to?
My coupe is aqua metallic I think(bought off forum for £250) I'm thinking of restoring it but want to know how rare it is and if worth saving.
                2.8 cq btw, 120000 miles

I think it was a limited run of body colours for coupe and cabby

Can't believe i missed this thread.I have most if not all the info here in brochures and that piece drummer87 put up.That was sent out as a single piece of paper in mailshots to potential customers i know as i have one. Seen all those colours. Don't like the duck egg blue or the magenta pearl Ruby Red pearl is much better there's an S2 avant on here in Ruby Red pearl.Cricket green is a great funky colour.

The lifestyle thing as far as i know means just that but really meant how well off you are as to choose the lifestyle colour was a £1,500 option

In 1996 lifestyle colours were a no cost option for the S2.

For a regular coupe a lifestyle colour was £400 extra. Metallic lifestyle £517.

Prices had shot up then from 96 to 99 my cabby has Melange (not shown above) lifestyle colour and that was £1,500 option.

Yep, they must have done as in 1996 the cabby prices were the same as I listed above for a regular coupe.
