    Yes.

And what good will suing her do? You'll get it all back from the insurance company anyways.

I feel your pain and your anger. What gets me it's always someone else who ruins our
Cars for us. Never you and me because we cherish our cars. Been hit the same whilst stationary in morning traffic on the M40 at Northolt back in 1998 thank god it wasn't one of my audis.

I would say its a write off but it doesn't take much to write something of nowadays,so that could be a good thing. Bear with me,good because it's not that bad.I have personally repaired exactley the same damage where rear quarter pushed forward and quite badly creased. As long as the roof panel is fine and the door gap is unchanged between the B pillar and door rear edge it's definitely doable and not that bad.will require a dozer to pull the rear wing back and you will definitely need a new rear floor pan and a rear panel but no great shakes really and very straight forward to repair.

            Good luck mate.

                      Ouch, that sucks.

I got rear ended at a roundabout recently so feel your pain.

The insurance company will probably write it off, and you can buy it back for scrap value and repair/VIC, sell it or break it. (I got payment in lieu for the value of the repairs to self repair, no write off, if I took the pay out for the car (same value as repairs), they would have written it off, and I would have to buy it back.

If you are going to DIY fix then check Tweeny Benson's thread.

Anything is fixable, just needs time/skills/money.

Insurance is a joke. You pay them year after year and when you crash, they write your car off and you don't get to keep it.

Once they pay you it then becomes their property, they then sell it back to you.

                            Sorry to see this.

I fitted a centre high level brake light (LED off of a golf mk4) to mine, every new car has them now and people are so used to seeing them when braking that in my opinion cars without them run the risk of shunts.

Best of luck with the outcome to this.

                                Feel your pain.

Gotta be a write off from an insurance company's point of view. Do buy it back though , it will give you more options.

It might make for an easier time in the long run to swop all the bits into a straight shell. A B4 V6 quattro Saloon would be nice in black or silver.

'Proper' damage to one of my cars is part of my 'Man Maths' as to why I have a second urS6 Avant and a second S2 Avant, both in matching colours respectively. :roll eyes: Hoping it never happens though.

Hopefully, there is a silver lining somewhere, but it's gonna mean you're out of pocket no matter which way you twist.

Best of luck with the whole situation.
