  • Bonnet release cable snapped-Help

I am sure this must have happened to some poor s@d out there. The blooming cable has just broke on me and I hope to god there is some way to get the bonnet up.
Any one with any fixes out there who could help?
i am hoping that the cable is still available so at least i can replace it.
I manage to find the end of the cable after some pulling apart of the the outer casing, but it only releases the near side bonnet catch.
any help to get access under neath the hood will be greatly appreciated

Rob when this happened to me I poked 2 long screwdrivers through the gaps in the grill to the release hinges.
They can be accessed on the upper outer edge of the grill near each headlight

The inner cable pulls the far catch and the out cable pushes the nearest catch, so pull on the inner and push on the outer

Or you can remove the undertray if fitted and release the catches with a pry bar from below.
