  • S2/V6 Question

Does anyone know whether the fogs and indicators on a standard (2.0 etc) b4 coupe front bumper are the same as those on the S2/V6 bumper? Or, as I fear, a subtly different shape?

Fogs and indicators are same. In my experience s2 and v6 front bumpers are not the same (same mould and looks but s2 protrudes further out front for charge cooler)

The lenses are thicker on the S2/v6 fogs
                Top: V6 - hella p/n 302-140 694
                Bottom: NG coupe - 301-132 522
Although I can't confrim this is what they were originally fitted too

Bumpers are same, lower grilles are different

Ye well spotted, didn't know about the lenses.
They obviously all fit anyway, even rs front bumper is a simple bolt on. No bespoke there then Audi ....

Now I'm confused! The V6 and S2 bumpers themselves both fit any B4 coupe, we know this

But.. It appears the V6/S2 fogs and indicators ARE in fact different to those in the standard 2.0/2.3 etc bumper....?

The brackets look the same, so they may in theory 'fit' but would possibly end up recessed into the bumper, and look a bit odd

Does anyone have any physical first hand knowledge of this? I'm interested to know how different the result is in practice

                    Thanks in advance.

I tried v6/s2 indicators and fogs in a cab bumper and they didn't want to go.

Is the opposite the same then I assume? I'm looking to replace my standard bumper with a V6/S2 and use the standard lights in that. No big issue if it won't work, just means a bit more cost.

They will fit - the S2/V6 items have a slightly different profile so the suit the squarer shape of the bumper.

Dave, just realised I replied to your post not looking at who posted! You have an email btw

Guess I'll try my lights in the new bumper and if they don't look right just go from there.
