urS6 - Fuel Tanks - Where do they rust ?

As per title, as I want to carry preventative maintenance on mine.

Any photos to add to a verbal description would be great.

    Thanks.

2WD are plastic and quattro metal?

From what I've heard they go around the seam in the middle.
