I dont get this, i have a friend with a audi 80 b4 sedan. He bought RS2 mirrors and they fitted with out modifying the door frame.
So iam a bit confused...

Jonas AFAIK, the sedan door is the same as they avant. Hence they should be a direct fit.
It is only coupe/cabrio doors that need to be altered.

...you will need more then a dremel, because the mirrors are of a 993!! the soket is much different as of the rs2, so you have to change the angle of the socket with fiberglass (GFK) or anything else. so its really sh** work to fit original porsche 993 mirrors at an audi 80 B4 etc, but its not impossible!!
so here are my rs2 mirrors, see the socket!? its much differnet:

lol, they were in fact 993 mirrors. managed to resell on ebay without losing any money. got some proper ones on order, well tomorrow, once my credit card has stopped smoking.

You had me worried there for a moment - I have RS2 mirrors on my coupe and I thought they were something else when you posted that pic!!! One of mine is broken after a disagreement with a bus - will be fixed sometime soon, along with a heap of other stuff...!!
