Anyone got any experience moving there engine back on a b2 coupe Quattro to improve balance and handling ? Getting to the engine trial fit stage and while the grinders out didn't know whether to do it ?
Moving the Engine down and back is pretty simple. But like mentioned. You then run into two issues. Shaft to CV angle. Steering rack will then crash into the bell housing so you will need to cut it and weld it.
I've done all of the above and its night and day different but the price for the CV joints is enough to put most off!
