I can get you the taps from work if you still need them, let me know,
sounds like you need 1/8 NPT , this is 27tpi (threads per inch)
the 9718, must be 18 tpi so thats either ¼ NPT or 3/8 NPT as both are 18 tpi,
My guess is is it's ¼ npt.
if you can roughly measure the diameter of the fittings i can work it out.
