So I always hated the cylinder head valve pring jobs. Then I saw a pic of a compressor bench and remember a odd tool my pops gave me some time ago. I was planning to do some kind of light press tool out of it. It's a old paint can tool, popably it was designed to close the paint can top cover in paint stores.
I removed the cover pressure plate and made a movable table on the lover part, big enough for a AAN head. It's fully adjustable in every direction. You can tighten the cam so the spring pressure doesn't lift it up when you relese the cam. Tadaa, here is a valve spring compressor bench. It's almost fun to remove valves and springs with this now.
It looks almost like this factory made bench.
